Peace Work as Dream WorkTM Virtual Workshop
Dreams speak the language of symbol and metaphor, can reflect our inborn creativity, and our deepest truths. They can help us tap into our inherent capacity to face life’s challenges, imagine new possibilities, and transform conflict.
Peace Work as Dream WorkTM uses projective group dreamwork to analyze conflicts (from interpersonal to international) as waking dreams. Working a conflict as a waking dream can break the rules of waking life, allowing new possibilities and new approaches for conflict transformation to emerge. This process can help to identify archetypal patterns, the stories being played out and the narratives being embraced by conflict actors and parties.
The workshop is part-presentation and part-experiential group work including:
· Introduction to projective group dreamwork
· Using projective dreamwork with groups or individuals to transform conflict
